Samuel + the Knocks

Samuel is an emerging artist from Heavy Roc Music (label), which is run by 'the Knocks' I believe, who have been throwing out some powerful mixes as of late, including this one. Think Telepopmusik meets Mew and some classic Knocks flavor.

Strap on some combat boots and grab your sister's black lipstick, we're going back to the heart of the nineties goth rock scene for this number.

Combining thunderous waves of thought out guitar and bass noise as well as melody and chopped up synth rhythm, HEALTH rise above the other easily forgetful acts claiming to be noise rock with their single, "Die Slow". The new 'Get Color' album hits shelves sept. 8th.

Why not hire Freddie for Example's promo project? Falke's tunes are always filled with sunshine or sunset noises, its fitting that he work on a mix specifically made to have your subconscious thinking of sun beams.

This single sounds like something an inspirational speaker would come on stage to (jumping around and screaming things into their microphone ear piece).

Yolanda Be Cool / Can DCUP do no wrong?!

Another track in the mail from the melting shoe crew, "Sweat It Out", who have recently been releasing audible gold for free (thank you)

I feel sorry for "Yolanda Be Cool". They're probably just a couple of dudes tryin to make it with some nice jungly ethnic-y sounding beats but the original is completely overshadowed by the fact that two DCUP mixes have dropped with its release.

Before you get too head over heels for DCUP be sure to pay your respects to Shazam (who started this whole thing).
