For all the DJs frantically putting together their NYE setlists, here's a few goods I've gotten recently that you might like. Songs are arranged from soft to hard.

Just got this killer remix of Dragonette's 'Pick up the Phone' single.
I've got two brand spakin new mixes from Good Morning Good Night. I met them a while back when they sent over their infectious 'On My Mind' remix. Since then I have been relentless in my harassment to shake them down for new dance funk grooves.
Might as well call Le Principle the funk doctors. They're out there every night performing cpr on tunes you thought was dead. Listen to these jams they recently resurrected called 'The Music' and 'Lost In Music'. They're my favorites out of a pack of free tunes they gave away through twitter.
WKBDYB just surprised their followers with a giftbag full of remixes. Some you've heard, some you haven't. One of my favorite noobs in their remix pack is their take on Lake Heartbeat's "Mystery". Its dancy, fresh, clean and gorgeous.
Christmas is the only time that I actively seek out jazz music. The sound somehow mixes well with holiday favorites. Below are some mellow tunes that I've hand picked for you to listen to while driving to and from parties or just some background noise you can use during family arguments. Not all jazz, but all gold. Check out the amazing brass notes that come out of nowhere in the Beach Boys song. Incredible.

Two amazing Delphic remixes for you today. They're different types of mixes. The Riton version is club ready providing a quick escalation into a powerful brit pop floor filler complete with bleeps, bloops and all that jazz.
Few bands have been able to slide into my musical radar and stay there as abruptly as Van She; a band who recently released their debut album 'V' on the much adored Modular Record label. On the album are several lasting singles broadcasted in a style that takes all the things you love from the past and tweaks them into a fresh approach for the present.
It was the Van She Tech sound that first locked me into a lasting relationship with the band’s music. I can’t remember which rework I heard first. It could have been any number of productions ranging from an extraordinary list of artists including Feist, Klaxons, Dragonette, Teenager, New Young Pony Club and more.
Once I was hooked on their remix releases I was more than ready to enjoy the album’s singles, “Cat & the Eye”, “Changes”, mega hit “Kelly”, “So High” and my personal favorite, “Virgin Suicide”.
So without further adieu, here’s my chat with Mikey di Francesco of Van She and Van She Tech fame:
Joseph: Bacardi's been doing a lot to support the current dance scene. How did you and B-live decided on covering Blue Oyster Cult?
[Side Note] I also enjoyed Land of the Lost.
What sort of sounds can we expect from your second album? Please avoid the trap many artists make after their first successful debut (heaping on as many featured big name alternative celebrities as possible).
No plans to heap on big name alternative celebrities, not that we have anything against them. As for rules there are no rules I would say that overall it's going to be a little more dance floor like a haunted disco where dracula is the bar manager or something. We have spoken to hoops about doing some backing vocals though.
You’ve been remixed by a huge handful of talented individuals, (Yuksek, Alan Braxe & Fred Falke, Lifelike, Strip Steve, G.L.O.V.E.S to name a few) whose rendition of a Van She song is your favorite?
Personally my favorite is the Shinichi Osawa remix of Kelly. He took it to a harmonic avenue that I didn't see on the map, really inspiring stuff.
I spent a couple days before the interview intricately searching through thousands of adult films and still can’t place a certain sample. I think the question on everyone’s mind is, “What’s the name of the porno used in the “Are You The One” remix?

"Here With You” is on the first and only ep thus far. That track was originally something else and evolved in the studio, yeah it's one of the only van she songs I can actually listen to without wanting to leave the room, I think it's one of our greatest works. It's special to us, we often pull it out when we are really high and Marvell at how awesome we are ha ha just kidding.
Somewhere between Los Angles and San Diego. Desert mountains on one side, edge of the earth on the other and highway in the middle

Popular Computers (above) are releasing a new EP called 'The Royal Fly' which you can learn all about at their myspace. They are also giving away a 128 sampler of their single 'Everybody Got Young' remixed by renowned producer, Fukkk Offf.

Algeronics of Digital Love fame are back with a follow up remix that doesn't disappoint. This new collaboration with PPRR reminds me of something that would have come out in ol' 2k7 when I was looking for electro on itunes.
The internet and its friends have been very kind lately. Soulwax just announced through twitter a free download of a MAJOR Crookers track called 'We Love Animals' that was only floating around in poor quality video form until now. You will feel like a dirty dirty theif downloading this 320 for free.
Golden Bug recently released the 'Assassin' EP on Bang Gang12s and since then, they have been producing some nice promotional mixes,
Teen Wolf and Dskotek have been broadcasting out of california for a bit now. Their latest collaboration is called 'A Party Like This' and no matter how many times you hear this type of song it's still be fun to get drunk and grind to.
Everyone's racing to finish year end best-of lists with their sights set on the music of 2010 and they don't even know one of this year's best dance anthem's just dropped.
If you've been into the dance scene within the last couple of years, you've most likely come across the brand, "Oh My God It's Techno Music!" and wanted one of their tee shirts.

At night there's a snake hiding under my bed...

Don Diablo continues his "I Am Not From France" EP promotion (set for dec 11 release) with a brand new Linus Loves remix. Part ecstasy part Tangerine Dream, this latest mix is both relaxing and engaging. The more I listen to this one the more I fall in love with it (although it does sound a bit like a sample track used to show you what you can make with your new music software)Major Lazer "Keep it Going Louder" from Eric Wareheim on Vimeo.
